About

Arcana is a multi-faceted, ever evolving hospitality and event space in the heart of the Mission District, San Francisco. A public parklet and a heated outdoor porch designed and built by us welcomes you to the space located at 2512 Mission Street.

Our building includes a wine bar, restaurant and plant shop also known as the Greenhouse.

Monday: 6 PM - 10PM
Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday: 4PM - 10:30 PM
Thursday-Friday: 4 PM - Midnight
Saturday: Noon - Midnight
Sunday: Noon - 9 PM

Our menu is entirely made in-house, including our breads. Our dishes are vegetarian with plant-based options. 
We strive to have minimal waste, and support our local farmers and vendors.

Arcana's resident plant curator, Anna, lead us through the Japanese art of Kokedama aka Moss Balls. Come get your hands dirty and drink some natty wine and bites with us! Get your tickets below!

Space

Formerly a neighborhood shoe store, Arcana was remodeled and brought to new life by the Arcana Design team in 2021, Arcana is a light-filled space with 20 foot high ceilings. Featuring its original wood joists of the 1920s structure, and oversized skylights, it is complemented by contemporary sculptural steel and refurbished wood elements from the original shoe store.
As an ever-evolving event venue, we are always excited to hear your suggestions or collaboration ideas.

A Little Note

"Arcana" means magical mysteries, in alchemy it is the potion that gives you a new beginning. It can be the growing roots of a tree breaking through concrete cracks of the sidewalk, or the passionate fire under ashes waiting for a breeze. It can be the droplets of water on a dry side of a dam, ready to become rivers and oceans, it is as simple as the air we breath. 

It is what our world desperately needs: a powerful force that brings us ALL together.
